This is a @2i2c-org/tech-team sync 🎉🎉🎉! This is a way for 2i2c Team Members to triage work, point out issues that require attention, and make sure we are working well as a team. This issue will be closed at the end of the day.

Updates from last week ✔

• Working on Deploying Cluster for Pangeo infrastructure#489
• Attended Pangeo Showcase meeting (last one before summer break, returns in the fall semester)

What I'm up to next ⬜

• Continue working towards Deploying Cluster for Pangeo infrastructure#489 and New Hub: Pangeo JupyterHub (GCP) infrastructure#482

My availability for next week

• I'm helping with a Turing Way/Binder/reproducibility workshop for Energy and Environment Institute at my alma mater this afternoon
• Rest of the week, I'll be working normal hours but I have also volunteered to review submissions for SeptembRSE and the deadline is next Monday. I only have 4 or 5 submissions to review so should only take an hour of my time, just depends on if that's consolidated or spread out 😄

Updates from last week ✔

• Worked through some administrative issues at Berkeley to get @damianavila set up with a contract...this is still ongoing in https://github.com/2i2c-org/meta/issues/204
• Had some conversations with Code for Science and Society about admin processes, to get things ready for next steps with them
• Spent some time working through a backlog of strategic items and team process items that we can make progress on

What I'm up to next ⬜

• Mostly a combination of getting things set up with CSS (particularly ensuring our grants get transferred over)
• Writing up more of our strategy so that we can post it publicly
• Working with you all more to think about how we can refine our team process

My availability for next week

• This is a wonky week for me as I am traveling to France on Tuesday. I'll generally try to keep my eye on Slack but my connection / attention will be spotty!

• Attended the first EBP monthly meeting!

• I will continue my focus on the Myst stuff (relevant not only for Nikola but also for the parser itself)
• I will continue pushing on the admin stuff...
• Usual push on issues and PRs to unblock others.

• I started getting a pattern setup for maintaining user images - https://github.com/2i2c-org/peddie-image was first, and github.com/2i2c-org/farallon-image/ second.

What I'm up to next ⬜

• I want to solidify our image building guidelines for now, and document how to setup a new repo to have images be built off it

• I'll probably be doing Berkely work on Wednesday and Thursday this week
