What are the advantages over CHANGELOG.md?

  • I can quickly see the last release date with a link to view changes (commits) compared to the previous version.
  • Releases are available directly on GitHub, where other packages follow the same practice.
  • I receive notifications about new releases.
  • The process can be fully automated when publishing an npm package.
