The same with

Server:

  • cockpit-file-sharing 3.3.4-1focal
  • samba file sharing
  • under Proxmox virtual environment 7.4-17,

Client:

  • Google Chrome under Linux.

After I change some network shares, I hit "Export" under "Import/Export Config" and choose file location, something happens quite fast and Google Chrome labels the download as unsuccessful in "Recent Downloads" with a message "Check internet connection" and a button "Resume". The "Resume" button does not help, it is still "Check internet connection".

Workaround:

After a change and before download, hit "Reload" button of the browser. After "Reload", "Export" works.

Expected behavior:

"Export" should work without "Reload".
