- Project completed and final test results posted
- Made some additional speed-ups due to sampling improvements, as described in #167
- Finished outstanding documentation updates, merged develop into master, updated issues and milestones
- Posted a new release to pypi
- Updated the Progress Report
- Drafted initial Contribution Review Questions for review
- Discuss work program for 1st half of 2018
- Discuss improvements to the administrative management of ActivitySim:
- The related PopulationSim, benefits calculator, and buffering tool (@stefancoe) packages are all close to done
- And some additional agencies are getting serious about getting involved
- So, to continue to formalize the ActivitySim effort, I think we should:
- Adopt github.com/activitysim as our official home, similar to tlumip, visioneval, astropy, etc. and make the PMC members the organization owners
- Transfer UDST/activitysim to activitysim/activitysim (the old site will redirect)
- Redirect ActivitySim.org to github.com/activitysim. I bought ActivitySim.org last weekend for $10 for the PMC.
- Create a lightweight website for the project that links to the repos, the wiki, issues, etc. and is hosted on GitHub. See astropy's site for example.
- Add a page describing affiliated packages, much like astropy does, and link to PopulationSim, the benefits calculator, and the buffering tool that Stefan is working on. Like astropy, we can attribute the packages as stable, in-development, etc.
- Update the Governance document as needed
- This will only take a couple days of effort and the costs can be shared across projects
- Discuss our response to agencies interested in joining the effort, especially
- what should be included in a scope for an ABM model development RFP later this year
- schedule concerns
- etc.
