I have added 192.168.10.1/24 as a persistent client to use a specific upstream resolver. Similarly 192.168.20.1/24 has a different resolver. Functionally it works as expected.
However all clients in /24 are named as whatever name I have saved as persistent client as, in my case 192.168.10.1/24 is admin 192.168.20.1/24 is iot.
I've setup Private reverse DNS servers and this would work to get friendly name if I don't use persistent client/s.
Is there a way to override the name given in Persistent client when used with CIDR and just the friendly name obtained from PTR requests?
