The Fall 2024 Coagulant Dosing subteam’s objective is to continue researching how to improve the coagulant dosing equation. Experiments will be designed and ran to uncover what could be missing from the model & to better understand floc dynamics in the clarifier and floc blanket. The fitted value for constant k_c is currently higher than its theoretical value, and we hope to discover why.
