System Details

  • OS: Windows 11 23H2
  • Thorium Version 126.0.6478.231

Problem
After a short time after startup, the omnibox suggestions are no longer shown.
If I create a new window, the suggestions are shown in that window, but they remain hidden in the existing window.
This problem has been occurring at some point in time, so we do not know when it occurs clearly.

Additional Notes
This is a problem that I had discovered at the time of M124.0.6367.218, but I report that it was still the same at M126.0.6478.231.
I have never had this problem using Chrome or Edge.

@RHEF19 Interesting. Never had this happen and I use Thorium on Linux and Windows. Although I don't use Win 11, and I've been getting alot of weird reports from people using 23H2.
If the next M128 release still doesn't fix it, I will install it in a Win11 VM and see if I can reproduce and debug.

@Alex313031 Unfortunately, this problem did not go away when I got to M128.0.6613.189.
After a little research, I found that this problem does not occur when using the standard IME, but when using the Japanese IME called ATOK.
I am not certain if this is a Thorium or ATOK problem, but I suspect it may be difficult to resolve.
If it looks too difficult, you may close this issue.
