When submitting an autocraft request for the Hellshelf from Apothic Enchanting, the recipe gets stuck in the molecular assembler. I've tried using both from the AE2 and ExtendedAE mods and they behave the same.

Any chance you didn't have it set to allow substitutions on the pattern and you've got the wrong shelves (or wood) in stock? I ran into a similar problem trying to autocraft Powah solar panels and that was the fix.
I wondered that too. I've have substitutions enabled on the pattern. I've
now run into this same problem with the "Iron Jetpack" mod. I've gone
through and created the patterns using the JEI by hand (dragging each item)
in and checked for erroneous NBT data and can't find anything that is
"wrong" with the recipes. It crafts perfectly in the crafting window. I
saw someone suggest using the extendedae Assembler Matrix. I built that,
put the patterns in there and still it won't process them. I've been doing
AE2 for about 5 years now and just completed the prominence II rpg using
hundreds (maybe thousand+) recipes for a server I manage. (granted it's
Fabric and several versions behind this one). I'm familiar with the
oddities of recipes, NBT data and differing mods that cause some weird
behavior, but I've never seen this. Where they just pile up in the
Molecular Assemblers and just hang. Plus they are surrounded by red
because the assembler doesn't' like the recipe. If I pull those items out
of the assembler, they craft perfectly by hand. If I'm doing something
stupid, I hope you can point me in the right direction.
