Have you tried playing with the original maracas on PC with a USB adapter? How did it work?

I'm looking for the best USB adapter for Dreamcast controllers. I briefly tested two adapters, and both don't properly support some less common controllers...

The EMS Trio Linker Plus II works fine on Windows 10 64 bit and Windows 11, using driver 1.1 32 bits. Test results with Flycast:

• Dreamcast Controller worked fine!
• Pop'n Music
  • works, but L/R and U/D can't be pressed simultaneously
  • possible workaround: vjoystick + triolinker-vjoy
• Maracas "Cha Cha Amigo"
  • register L & R maracas buttons and shake, but all buttons in Windows Game Controller Properties are "blinking" (as if all were pressed at once) fast (~3 Hz); lowering both maracas and keeping them almost still reduces the blinking (~0.5 Hz)
• Fishing Controller (InterAct Fission)
  • doesn't register anything

Mayflash DC Controller Adapter for PC USB works on Windows 11 without any drivers

• Dreamcast Controller worked fine!
• Pop'n Music
  • register U/D/L/R as directional pad and independent buttons simultaneously, allowing all buttons to be pressed simultaneously
  • doesn't register the C button
  • after a while (or pressing all buttons?), U/D/L/R disappear as independent buttons (firmware bug?)
• Maracas "Cha Cha Amigo"
  • registers only left maraca button (10) and shake (1), and left maraca shake (2) and X/Y axes
• Fishing Controller (InterAct Fission)
  • Works? Register all buttons, analog stick, reel and one acceleration sensor
