haul_dur, num_cpue, and wgt_cpue #53

units should be correct in the table of the Scientific Data paper: Table S2 in the supplementary information file https://www.nature.com/articles/s41597-023-02866-w#Sec24 so I believe it is kg/hour - do you agree @zoekitchel @jepa |
@AquaAuma @shahar710 Yes! haul_dur were all converted to hours, and therefore effort values with time are kg/hr. @shahar710 , sorry for the confusion! Can you direct me to where it says kg/min? I want to make sure to fix that! |
Dear @zoekitchel, thanks for the clarification! |
@shahar710 , can you share the link to that file if possible? Or where you downloaded it from? |
Dear FISHGLOB team,
I would be happy to get a clarification regarding the units of the haul_dur, num_cpue, and wgt_cpue columns.
I opened the "FishGlob_public_std_clean.rds" and "FishGlob_public_std_clean_readme.rds" files.
If I understand correctly, the haul_dur is measured in hours and indeed the num_cpue is reported in units of individuals per hour. The wgt_cpue, according to the readme, is calculated as wgt/ haul_dur and thus should be in the units of kg/ hour. However, in the readme file, the units are kg/min. How is that? Am I missing something?
Thanks,
Shahar
