Can this be used to trigger builds pushed to master as well? i.e. not waiting for the polling to pick up the changes?

What are you trying to achieve? Seems like a VCS trigger on master would be sufficient for your need?

It does work, but I have to wait the poll time on average before the build starts. Several hosted CI environments can take a calllback from the repo to tell it to start.

Ah I see. No sorry, this plugin doesn't support webhooks at the moment
