About

This is a Fall Detection System that comprises of two architecturally contiguous modules. An object detection module and a fall detection module. Use the instructions below to run the model. Feel free to reach out to any of the contributors should you need more information about the project. The updated zip file with all the models and dataset is availble here (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LhneNvPqpuc8oekfFjwYH1m2iSyOnSrF/view?usp=sharing)

Getting Started

To run the code in this project you will need:

  • Python
  • Google Colab

Installing

You'll need to clone the repository as below in order to run the notebooks.

git clone https://github.com/Arekku21/Fall-Detection-Models-.git

Usage

For the Low Light Model it links to an external git repository that belongs to Billy Micah. Once you've cloned the main project as instructed in the Installing section.

Proceed as below:

cd /Fall-Detection-Models-
git clone https://github.com/Billy-06/FallDetectionPipeline.git

The main python notebook in the FallDetectionPipeline git is named LowLightTraining.ipynb. Simply run the cells in the notebook in order to train the model.

The results from my previous training are in the results folder
