Running into the same issue. Seems like this release is no longer available? This is our error (linux build machine)

Updating to the new major version fixes this. But unfortunate we can't still use v2.x

2.x didn't use NAPI so it won't have builds for newer node versions. 3.0 didn't break anything except support for old versions of node, so should work for use cases like this. Are you using canvas as a dependency-of-a-dependency? If so, can you pressure the dependency to update using that information?
