When the permalink structure results in a trailing slash being added to the URL, the plugin doesn't correctly intercept requests. For example, if the structure is /%postname%/' and we try to access wp-json/openid-connect/authorize, WordPress will redirect to wp-json/openid-connect/authorize/ and the plugin doesn't intercept the request. Setting the structure to /%postname% (without trailing slash) fixes the issue.
The plugin should be able to intercept requests independently of which permalink structure is set.
