AzureLinux is the recommended OS SKU for your Azure Linux AKS nodepools

AzureLinux is the recommended OS SKU to use in your Azure Linux AKS deployments, as future major releases of the OS after Azure Linux 3.0 won’t support OS SKU Mariner.

If you are currently running workloads with OS SKU Mariner enabled on your AKS node pools, the Azure Linux team encourages you to migrate to the newest and recommended OS SKU, AzureLinux, to stay in support for future Azure Linux versions.

Recommended Action:
You can use the OS SKU migration feature or add AzureLinux nodepools and remove existing Mariner nodepools to migrate from OS SKU Mariner to OS SKU Azure Linux.
