[feature request][apiview][ui] ability to filter the navigation items #9254

it would be nice if we could

have an input box to type some text and filter the navigation items to the ones that pattern match the input
show just some kinds of api items, for example, check boxes to toggle Class, Interface, top-level functions, etc.
