current status?

I dont see any activity past 2022.
What is the current status of this project?

Roughly, I am looking at scaling operations dependent on a single etcd cluster using below approaches.
1/ create mini etcd clusters that is all under a global metaetcd.
2/ all application operations are local to the mini etcd cluster, allowing etcd outage to affect only a mini cluster.
3/ mini cluster are only logical partitioning and not visible external.

Any inputs on whether this project is at a place, to be explored?
