Windows 64-bit binaries.
In and Out Points
Before performing any other edits, if you consider a media file as just one long segment, creating an IN point at the cursor requires splitting this one segment into two, with the resultant left segment marked as deleted. Conversely, an OUT point is exactly the same but with the resultant right segment marked as deleted.
MMP has been modified, and simplified, so that you can use the [I]n and [O]ut functions on any segment under the cursor, regardless of whether the segment is one overall segment for the entire media file, or a segment covering only a portion of the media file. As such, creating an [I] point splits the segment under the cursor into two segments, marking the left segment as deleted; creating an [O]ut point splits the segment under the cursor into two segments, marking the right segment as deleted.
This saves the user from having to remember when it was permissible to use the [I] and [O] functions.
Following this amendment, [I] and Ctrl-[C] now do the same thing.
[I] and [O] can be used both on included and previously e[X]cluded segments.
The beauty of this change is that you can now TAB through an entire media file (audio or video) setting [I]n and [O]ut points as you go, to define the segments of the media file to be included in the final edit.
