Occasionally torrents fail to download, whatever the reason may be. But instead of retrying or even getting a warning that it failed, the torrent just sits under "Old/Removed" doing nothing, and I have to manually go in to start it.

Please add an option to retry failed torrent downloads for x number of times, and if it still cannot download and add the torrent after x times, have it emit a warning.

Hmm could that be a property of the feed I'm using?

I'm using ShanaProject to download anime automatically, and it has, what they call, a public and private feed:

Public RSS Feed
Your public RSS feed will show your latest 20 releases and is located at: --link-- Anyone can access this feed, so share it with your friends!

Private RSS feed
A secure RSS Feed should only be used by you! When your torrent application downloads each release, that release will be marked as "downloaded" and will disappear from your watch list.

I'm guessing this last part is what causes items previously detecting by the plugin to be listed as "old/removed" as in the screenshot above. I'm also guessing that's causing it to not retry any entries that might have failed. I'll try switching to the public feed instead.

To be honest, I've never had problems with the private feed, just for the past month or so it's occasionally been getting 502's when trying to download a torrent.

Ah, can't really help, I didn't realise this issue was for the plugin (should have seen what project it was in!), I assumed you were talking about a RSS feed (Subscription) in the core client.
