What’s the best way to use or tweak our Carpentries lessons? At Illinois, we’re doing an Intro to R workshop and want to use some BioC materials but won’t have time for all of it. We also need to add some local stuff and would like it all in one place on Github.io. Forking doesn’t seem ideal since we’re not planning to push changes back. Some templates can just be copied over, but I’m not sure that’s an option here.
To-Do:
Add a section to training.bioconductor.org with:
A guide on different ways to adapt the training materials
Show how to get a customised workshop website through templating with workshop-template.
