unexpected behaviour of path gui controls

on all major desktops i've used so far, in controls selecting a directory a single click selects, and a second click is then needed to dive into the directory.
in amiberry, a single click enters the directory directly. that's unintuitive and sometimes even counterproductive, basically everytime i use it i find myself diving into the wrong dir, so i resort to typing the path out manually.

Describe the solution you'd like
one click selects, a second click is needed to open the directory or file. (i.e. on click, open only items that are already selected).
