It would be nice to have a proxy support due to some geo restrictions.

You mean like having settings in the program for applying a program-wide proxy, or something like having the program automatically switch to a proxy from a service of some kind if there's a geo restriction? I don't know of any service for the latter unfortunately.

Using system proxy is enough: I run proxy(v2raya) in the terminal and than launch QtTube. I expect to see actual youtube content. But without proxy I have to use VPN which are mostly slow and mainly blocked in my country.
