The Mathematica implementation provides useful plotting routines. There is a start towards these in the sense that some of the demo programs make reasonable plots, but this functionality could be encapsulated and thus made more useful for applications.

For the future, I downloaded some NAG demo routines that include plotting, and I was impressed that they used the MATLAB plotting routines intelligently. They make simple easy to understand calls, but add just a few touches of customization that make the plots look much better. Using a name instead of a number in the title bar. Using 12 pt text. I learned a lot just looking at the free demos. https://www.nag.com/nag-toolbox-matlab
