Currently this is impossible because we base circuit -> TN conversion on the pytket Graph representation, which does not store gate objects per se, just names. Names for Box objects, such as PauliExpBox or ToffoliBox are not informative enough as they might cover arbitrary number of qubits, contain parameters, etc.

Closing this issue because it refers to the old (soon to be deprecated API). The new API GeneralState will be full-featured once #165 is merged.
