@chriscoyier : I'd be happy to pick this up if you'd like. I can make additions, adjustments to the existing og:, twitter: and other meta tags. With the right give and take they'll look nice on Instagram and other social sites that use the same tags.

Perhaps a bit tenuous (SEO instead of social sharing), but a schema.org Event tag might be a good add for conference detail pages.

@ecarlisle That would be awesome.

That screenshot is from the Serverless site, but I imagine the same holds for this site. There should probably be a hand-crafted nice image for the homepage, and the details pages could use the "generated" images from each conference.
