Based on investigating this ticket - https://desk.zoho.com/support/saturdaydriveinc/ShowHomePage.do#Cases/dv/413570000000822993 -

It appears that when add-ons ( tested with Mailchimp and Aweber ) are installed but not activated via the License Manager, the grid view in the media library doesn't show the medias ( list view still work and show the medias ).
