[BUG] Chow Kick - Appears to be crashing (intermittently) #51

Describe the bug

occasionally (very intermittently) Chow Kick appears to be crashing Reaper

after restart of Reaper, Chow Kick pops up a message with to view log

i thought that you might appreciate a report on the issue and a copy of the log

this has happened across multiple versions of reaper 6.x to latest - and i am not able to reproduce intentionally

context within reaper

  • the vst is installed with many others in a template
  • the track it is on is muted
  • the track it is on has fx disabled - it should not be running (perhaps this is the issue)

issue may not be with Chow Kick and if you do think that it is with reaper, please reply so i can post in their forums

To Reproduce

  1. Uncertain - issue appears to be intermittent and has happen

Not the crash. =)

  • OS: Windows 10 Pro - Unlicensed
  • Reaper 7.16 (and earlier through 6.x)
  • 64 bit
