Feature: Update config automatically more seamlessly

The config dif should automatically update whenever changes are being made. At the moment it will only update when there is an input field changed or blurred.

Teachability, documentation, adoption, migration strategy

This is automatic, but documenting the types of events that trigger a config generation would be nice.

What is the motivation / use case for changing the behavior?

The diff feature allows the user to see what configuration changes they're making throughout the configuration process. This should feel more seamless to better indicate when changes are happening.
