The sidemenu will not appear on first press of burger button on Home screen #20

To recreate:

Open App.
Go to Home screen.
Click on burger button on top left.
Screen goes dark, but sidemenu does not appear.
If you change to portrait mode the menu appears.
From now on the burger button & menu works as expected.

Did you have a look at this @ronitronitronit ? I am still getting it on master
