Community Submitted Idea from Ilya Kreynin:

A website template for showing off civic tech (Toronto) projects!

  • Upside for projects/the people involved in them - low friction in designing a website/populating it with the appropriate pages.
  • Upside for the community - being able to point at lots of projects, with some shared structure/brand identity, and say "hey they came from this scene/space!" - and have those projects be well presented and legible + point back to the community. Projects become part of the flywheel that gets people to know about + engage in civic tech work!

Initial thoughts: this could be done with GitHub pages' built in /docs/ publishing pattern, potentially adapting https://just-the-docs.github.io/just-the-docs-template/ with some structured Civic Tech specific language.
