Flash Loan arbitrage, Liquidate sniping, MEV Bots, are they still profitable?

Hey everyone,

I've been learning Solidity to build an arbitrage bot for flash loans and also to try liquidation sniping. However, I recently found out that there's a lot of competition in this space, making it very difficult to generate profits.

Can someone honestly tell me if it's still worth learning Solidity for flash loans, liquidation sniping, and MEV bots? Given the intense competition, is it realistically possible to make profits?

If yes, how difficult is it? Please give a frank answer rather than just an optimistic one if the reality is different.

I never have an interest in building an arbitrage bot or flash loan bot so I know little or nothing about the field and it's profitability but I trust people that know will answer to this as soon as possible.
