No PC Speaker Beep during boot on MSI Z790-P Wifi #1127
Comments
@JanPrusinowski our builds do not beep during boot on MSI platforms. That behavior is only present on Protectli platforms. |
Test for the beep is in the scope of testing. |
it may beep but only for error paths, e.g. no memory modules present. |
Is it in the scope? https://docs.dasharo.com/variants/msi_z790/test-matrix/ I don't see ERR test cases anywhere? ERR001.001 is for error beeps So per your issue description, only ERR002.001 should fail. For ERR001.001 to pass, you have to simulate an error path, e.g. remove memory modules. |
