When I go Playback > Repeat > One Track I would assume that it properly looks at the embedded cues.

The PSF/MiniPSF format form the PS1 era had proper cue information, but not in the traditional sense. These are no timestamps, but rather goto instructions, since PSF files are mini programs dedicated to playback music.
I was delighted to see that deadbeef can play those, but it doesn't respect the author's loop instructions at all.
