Is there any way to downgrade a save file from version 1.6 to 1.5? I have a switch save on 1.6 but I'd like to use it on the Wii U. Converting a 1.6 Switch save to Wii U doesn't work since the Wii U version of the game is on 1.5

Not sure it's actually a problem. Assuming you're using Cemu, transferring the Switch's v.1.6 save doesn't present a problem, at least not with my save game that was about 3/4 through the game. It loaded up and played just fine. After saving again in Cemu, the save shows as v1.5. So it seems like transferring back and forth works regardless of the difference in 1.5 and 1.6 version numbers.

I'll have to try dumping my switch save again and trying again. It definitely didn't work last time I tried. But maybe there's been changes in save dumping tools and Cemu since then. It would just get stuck loading infinitely.

I'd be curious if you have any problem. I've gone back and forth from Cemu to my Switch at least a dozen times as I like to take it with my when I'm away from home and use Cemu at home for it's better graphics quality. Do make sure you have all the updates and DLC installed for BOTW in Cemu. It should show as Version 208 and DLC 80 in Cemu if you have everything installed correctly.
