Mana spreaders don't update without a whack from the wand

Documentation says they're supposed to, but I'm not sure why that doesn't quite happen here. I imagine something's changed from official that makes this all happen, that or the team didn't catch it on their end.

I'll need to set up a test environment to verify if it works correctly on official. If so, I'm out of ideas to make it work correctly here, but at least it's gone from the mana pools and flowers (again, mostly).
