• What are all the taxons ("Taxonomic ID", "Taxon Name","Rank","Parent Taxonomic ID" …) for the latest release or of a specific eg: "release version" 2022 ?
• What are all the distinct taxon names to use across all history for the taxon named “Human respiratory virus” … should return the information about taxons displayed on the ICTV taxonomy history (Taxon name release 1971 that have been split in several terms across history it remains 2 of them in the last release: Betacoronavirus1 and Human coronavirus 229E … the current term that should be used without human intervention should be the Subfamily: Orthocoronavirinae?)
• What are all the distinct taxon names and their parents taxon across all lineages and all history
• what is the Taxon Name for the Taxonomic ID n°xxx(whatever the release) in the "release version" 2021 ?
• what is the lineage of the Taxonomic ID n°xxx for the "release version" 2022 ? (the list of taxon nodes and their details)
• what are all the taxons ("Taxonomic ID", "Taxon Name") having a "Rank" = Species for the "release version" 2022 ?
• what is the list of taxons (Taxonomic ID, Taxonomic ID to use for Promoted/merged/abolished cases) that will be resolved by a different Taxonomic ID in the "release version 2022" ?

Most of these require querying by specific annotation properties which should be possible in the v2 OLS API which we are in the process of documenting, EBISPOT/ols4#837
