I had an idea, I don't know if it was considered during the development of Filamentalist. Instead of cutting the filament directly on the SB, couldn't it be done on the ERVF when it finishes retracting? In the Encoder_left and Encoder_right parts, there could be two blades pointing at the filament. When changing color, there would still be a small amount of filament left. When moving to another slot, it would cut off that end. There could be an opening underneath these parts to allow the rest of the filament to be thrown out of the tube. In addition to not having to change an existing SB, this solution would also avoid the need for more extrusion just to eliminate that cut piece. I included a merely illustrative image.
