how to use ORIENTATION_VERTICAL in android.support.v4.widget.NestedScrollView

i using vertical animation for recyclerView with this code :
OverScrollDecoratorHelper.setUpOverScroll(recyclerView, OverScrollDecoratorHelper.ORIENTATION_VERTICAL);

xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"

android:layout_height="match_parent"

<android.support.v7.widget.RecyclerView
    android:id="@+id/list"
    android:layout_width="match_parent"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content"
    app:layoutManager="LinearLayoutManager" />

but nestedScrollView dosent work :(
