Ignoring child windows

Is it possible to somehow ignore application child windows?

Some context: I am using intellij and it has lot's of on-hover windows (see screenshot). Is it possible to ignore these windows somehow? (Ideally don't want to ignore all Intellij windows)

Reason - when quickly switching between them, borders can get stuck in one position, so they don't update anymore

Unfortunately not easily reproducible, will try to add a screenshot as soon as I have the issue again

quick fix: brew services restart borders
or with aerospace: alt-shift-period = 'exec-and-forget brew services restart borders && borders active_color=0xff34c759 inactive_color=0xff494d64 width=5.2'

+1 on this one. Also happens to me with Jetbrains IDE (Pycharm).

I have not observed a stuck behavior. Still, when minimizing/restoring a window, the border remains after the minimization animation and disappears when the animation is done/appears when the restoring animation starts.

@ChrisGVE i only hade this too when i started the Border from AeroSpace, if i start this from brew service, i don't have the stuck behaviour..

for me it did it to add "idea", to the block apps, would be nice for a child window ignore options.

Same issue for me, also using AeroSpace.
