improve srcset handling

I want to define a maxHeight. If I do that, then this maxHeight is applied to all variants which is pretty useless.

Also, if I read the source correctly, The image is scaled 2 times. This can make the process a lot faster when dealing with huge images but things like quality are also applied twice making things worse.
