Feature description

Hello,

would it be possible to implement appointment templates? This would be useful, for example, for people who work at different times but have fixed start times. For example, starting work at 06:00, 08:00, 16:00 etc. but not in a fixed rhythm, so that a repeat appointment does not work. With a previously defined template, you could simply insert the template in the relevant day and save a lot of time.

That's why I imagine a template in which I can enter the same information as when creating an appointment. If I then go to a day and create a new appointment, I have the option of choosing the right one from a list of templates and the information is entered automatically. All I have to do is click on Save.

Why do you want this feature?

I need this feature because I often have the same appointment (work) with different working hours. I only find out about them about a week in advance and then I transfer them to my calendar.

There's a possibility to duplicate an event. Isn't it enough?

I don't find the solution ideal because, for example, I don't always work at all possible times in one week. Sometimes I start twice at 6 a.m. and twice at 8 a.m. the following week. And then I have to look for the week in which I have already worked once at 8 a.m. in order to copy the appointment. Or I have to start completely differently on four days, in which case I first have to find the right date to copy four times.

In my opinion, this function would always be practical if you have an appointment that always takes place at the same time and in the same place, but not always on the same day or regularly (weekly). In addition to the working time example, I would have at least two other use cases.

This way, I don't have to search for the old appointment to copy, but can simply click on the day in question and select the right appointment from the templates.

But perhaps my use case is too specific, and I am an isolated case? I at least wanted to express my idea.
