How did you install the app?

F-Droid / IzzyOnDroid

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Open Contacts app
  2. Pick a (not already assigned) number
  3. Make a call to that number
  4. Choose a preffered SIM for that number
  5. Finish/end a call
  6. Go to Phone app
  7. Pick a number you've just set SIM for in Contact app
  8. You are asked for SIM to choose again

Expected behavior

  1. Open Contacts app
  2. Pick a (not already assigned) number
  3. Make a call to that number
  4. Choose a preffered SIM for that number
  5. Finish/end a call
  6. Go to Phone app
  7. Pick a number you've just set SIM for in Contacts app
  8. Make a call with already assigned SIM from Contacts app

When I assign SIM card in Contacts app I am expecting it will reflect the same settings in Phone app and vice versa

Actual behavior

Phone app does not reflect assigned SIM to a number in Contacts app and vice versa.

Do you have checked Format phone numbers in Phone's Settings? If yes, please turn it off and test again.

  1. In Phone app I've unchecked Format phone numbers.
  2. In Contacts app I've made a call and set SIM - I've Format phone numbers in Contacts app checked.
  3. In Phone app in Call history I see that number with assigned SIM
  4. I'made a call in Phone app from this number and I am asked to select preffered SIM beforehand...
