Provide query extension which allows checking for mandatory step between the source and sink of data

The current dataflow extensions in the query API only allow to track the dataflow between a source and a sink, where both have to be a specific Node. It should be possible to enforce that the data originating the sink passes one or multiple steps before reaching a sink (should be gerneralized by a predicate rather than a specific node).
