snowpack dev for a Chrome extension

Hi, I am building a Chrome extension/Firefox addon. The source code is written in TypeScript, and I need to have it transpiled into JavaScript, let's say in a build directory.

I've playing with snowpack build, which gives me the output that I need but it does not update when I change the source code. snowpack dev watches the filesystem, but it provides a dev server instead of the build output directory.

Is there a way to do what I need with snowpack, like a mix between snowpack build and snowpack dev? Thanks!

Hi @cmolina, have you tried using snowpack build --watch?

This is exactly what I needed. I don't know how I missed the --watch argument.

@cmolina - what snowpack.config.js did you used for building the extension? I am trying to find how to tell snowpack to build compile the different parts of the extension, popup, background, and content separately... many thanks in advance!
