The latest Svelte template not working in DEV mode

Steps to reproduce:

1. npx create-snowpack-app myapp --template @snowpack/app-template-svelte
2. cd myapp
3. npm start
4. Everything is okay this far. Browser shows the app.
5. Edit src/App.svelte file's script block to be as follows:

  import { onMount } from "svelte";
  const message = "Learn Svelte";

  onMount(() => {
    console.log("MOUNTED");
  });
</script>

6. Browser console shows the following error message:

Uncaught TypeError: Failed to resolve module specifier "svelte". Relative references must start with either "/", "./", or "../".
