The aim for version 2 is to auto-generate all characters for a person's handwriting. So while this could be fixed now, that will be a manual process (as I've mentioned in the docs, the process of feeding in new characters is presently restrictively static). I think we'll wait for the next version that automates this procedure, so this can be done easily then.
