Days with multiple files

Hi, I found that several days have more than one file. For example, I can see both sice_500_2018_07_15-1.nc and sice_500_2018_07_15.nc exist on the GEUS dataverse and the GEUS THREDDS Data Server. But I didn't see any explanation in the documentation.
