gns3 v2.2.22 on macos big sur

just wanted to report the following since the fix of vmware guests used in a topology on macos big sur:

• Running GNS3 version 2.2.22 on Darwin (64-bit) with Python 3.9.4 Qt 5.12.9 and PyQt 5.12.3.
  • successfully added a vmware guest (fedora 34) into a topology and communicated to/from this vmware guest
    within the topology as a network management system
• Running GNS3 version 2.2.22 on Darwin (64-bit) with Python 3.8.10 Qt 5.12.9 and PyQt 5.12.3.
  • successfully added a vmware guest (fedora 34) into a topology and communicated to/from this vmware guest
    within the topology as a network management system
• Running GNS3 version 2.2.22 on Darwin (64-bit) with Python 3.7.10 Qt 5.12.9 and PyQt 5.12.3.
  • successfully added a vmware guest (fedora 34) into a topology. unsuccessfully started the vmware guest.
  • error:
    error while starting nms: Internal server error http://10.0.10.1:3080/v2/compute/projects/7cc1fb8d-e621-4f1a-b31e-1cd47bc1291f/vmware/nodes/d7a79202-a89f-4d96-ac22-64e78cbafe66/start

also, the packaged gns3 v2.2.22 works too:

• Running GNS3 version 2.2.22 on Darwin (64-bit) with Python 3.6.5 Qt 5.11.0 and PyQt 5.10.1.
  • successfully added a vmware guest (fedora 34) into a topology and communicated to/from this vmware guest
    within the topology as a network management system

than through the process again today and can report:

• Running GNS3 version 2.2.22 on Darwin (64-bit) with Python 3.7.10 Qt 5.12.9 and PyQt 5.12.3.
  • successfully added a vmware guest (fedora 34) into a topology and communicated to/from this vmware guest
    within the topology as a network management system

not sure what the difference was between a couple of days ago and today. weird.
