It should have had coloring

I am using a steam deck on steam os

  • 1.20.1
  • fabric
  • wakes-0.2.4+1.20.1
  • fabric-api-0.92.2+1.11.8+1.20.1

I think its something to do with biome shading
I would like to also mention that it didn't work on other versions, those were just my versions at the time
EDIT:
Found out that it works fine with shaders for some reason, it worked with bloop shaders, although i don't remember what version

I get the same exact problem, also on linux, no matter what I do the wakes are always grey or black.

This happens on one PC in my house but not another, the one where wakes work properly is running Arch Linux with an Intel Core i7-7800X, the other which has the issues is running Linux Mint with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G. Seems to be some sort of AMD problem on Linux, if not the Intel PC is using a GTX 1080 while the AMD PC is using integrated Vega 7 graphics.

I see you that the version you provided is 0.2.4. Is the grayscaled textures present on 0.3.0 as well?

Can confirm in 0.3.0 (Ubuntu 24.04.1, AMD Ryzen™ 7 2700X, AMD Radeon™ RX 580).

I tested it on ver 3.0 on 1.20.1 fabric and instead of grayscaling, it just goes completely black
