Unable to run Reactor > Error: The 'insightface==0.7.3' distribution was not found and is required by the application

I've been trying to run reactor but I'm getting this error message all the time.
Checked my files in site-packages and no insightface folder has been created
I already followed the troubleshooting and various reddit/github threads and still getting the same error message.

CPU: i9-13900HX
GPU: Nvidia RTX 4080 Mobile
Python version : 3.10.7
Yes, I installed VS 2022 and have C++ added, as well as Windows 11 SDK
No, I didn't have roop before.

Hey, it's been many months so I don't recall all the exact details. I wouldn't say I found a fix, but rather found the mistake I was making. After using my friends computer to replicate the error, I found that, for some reason, the run.bat file was corrupted after I messed with the webui-user.bat inside the webui folder. I still don't know what exactly I did, but my only guess is that I reinstalled sd webui so many times in the same location without a proper clean install that some files started corrupting others. Running webui-user.bat seemed to have corrupted the insightface installation, too, as I was able to see the files being created when running it, and disappearing immediately.

I know it's a messy explanation, it was kind of a mix of me not doing a proper reinstall and webui-user.bat acting up. After a new clean installation of sd webui and all the dependencies one by one, I just made sure to check for all the folders to have been created and didn't mess with webui-user again and just straight up started the app with run.bat and reactor was good to go.

I also fixed it I think. I uninstalled all versions of python then only the right one for automatic1111. I had to disable windows 11 hijacking python.exe. I manually installed git for windows. I disabled and re-enabled the reactor extension.

I don't know for sure what I was doing wrong either. I got some clues by running run.bat as Administrator.
